Sinopsis
En 1954 el dictador Rafael Leónidas Trujillo reclutó 5.000 labradores españoles para colonizar la república Dominicana, prometió que allí les daría una casa, tierras, animales, aperos y lo más importante, viaje de vuelta a quien no se adaptara. En definitiva, un sueño. Pero al llegar a la isla….
In 1954, the dictator Rafael Leónidas Trujillo recruited 5000 Spanish farm workers to colonise the Dominican Republic. He promised them that he would give them houses there, land, animals, farming tools and most importantly, the option to return home for those who couldn't adapt to the way of life there. In short, a dream. But when they arrived on the island...
